Our History
Founding Pastors Jesus and Sally Lujan started working with missions in 2000 to 2008. During this time of ministry, they also held bible studies in their auto-shop business, which grew rather quickly. Pastor Jesus had a heart to teach people from Spanish speaking countries the grace and love of our Lord Jesus Christ. The Lord led Pastors Jesus & Sally to start Iglesia Vision de Lockhart, a non-denominational church. In early 2008, they were ordained and construction of the church began. Many businesses had burnt down in the spot where the church was being built, but pastors Jesus and Sally declared that Iglesia Vision would burn with the fire of the Holy Spirit! While the church started as a Spanish-speaking only church, in 2014, pastors Kyle & Bianca Dunlap, graduates of Charis Bible College, became associate pastors and started the English service.
In 2025, Pastors Jesus and Sally Lujan decided to retire and Pastors Jim and Sherry Harris became the new pastors of Vision Church of Lockhart.

Senior Pastor Jim Harris
Pastor Jim Harris was raised in Phoenix, AZ where in August of 1988 he had a powerful conversion experience that set him free from a life of drugs and hopelessness. Pastor Jim graduated from Rhema Bible Training Center in 1986 and New Life Bible School the following year. He began pastoring Portland Christian Center in November 1988. Pastor Jim’s down-to-earth and transparent teaching style is a refreshing change for many who have traded “religious” rules and regulations for a strong personal relationship with Jesus Christ. The calling and anointing on his life are evident as the power of God manifests regularly to set others free just as the Lord set him free way back then. He has traveled to such places as Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Latvia, Haiti, Cuba, the deep regions of the Amazon and several cities in Mexico teaching in Bible schools and preaching in churches and crusades. Pastor Jim is ordained with Rhema Ministerial Association International

Pastor Sherry Harris is a graduate of Charis Bible College and is licensed with Andrew Wommack Ministries. She is a gifted Bible teacher and administrator whose years of business experience enables her to successfully deal with the everyday issues of ministry.
Sherry's no-nonsense style and get-it-done attitude has been a tremendous asset to the succes of the church, her husband, and the International ministry they founded. She has seen the supernatural power of God operate in her life and ministry and has a true heart for revival.
She leads our Women's Ministry and has a heart to lead women into walking out the call God has on their lives.
Sherry enjoys spending time with her children and most especially her grandchildren.

Pastors Jesus and Sally, founders of Vision Church of Lockhart. Filled with God's mercy and truth they seek to make Him known to anyone who will listen. Their tremendous love and patience that comes from the Holy Spirit will warm your heart making you believe you can do anything and be anything Jesus calls you to be. They love spending time with their family and pastor Jesus' favorite sports teams are the Texas Rangers/Longhorns.

Misael's heart for worship is otherworldly and we are very blessed to have him. He is as humble as they come and he will lead you right into the throne room of God where God becomes big and everything else becomes small.
Misael is the Worship Leader for the Spanish Service.
